Today, that was so not the case. When I picked the kids up from school I took them to get much needed hair cuts. When we got in the car I said, "Now that you guys have your super cute new hair cuts you'll let me take a few pictures of you to try out my new background right?", in unison, "no" rang out. "What if I make your favorite lunch?" "No thanks mom." Great. Now I'm gonna have to dig deep. "I'll make cookies???" "Nah, that's OK mom." What?! Noooo.... I have 72 hours to try this backdrop and send it back if I hate it. I need my built in models! I pulled out my last bribe, "How about after your favorite lunch, I make cookies and while they're baking we take a couple quick shots and then go to Natalie's to play?" Finally I had them. They all, while reluctant, agreed to let me take pictures.
I should have known with all the bribing I had to do that these were not going to be fantastic pictures. I did not ask them to look pouty and uninterested. That is what they are. Poor little photographers kids.

I tried here to get them to look interested. I asked them to pretend to be happy to take pictures. Clearly, they're happy, can't you tell?

So this one wasn't so great, but at least now I know I do not like that backdrop and will be sending it back. I also know I called in my last favor from the kids for a long time. I need to find more willing models.
