Christmas Recap

Now that Christmas Eve, and Christmas day are all behind us I can look back and tell you all how much fun it was. Christmas Eve is traditionally spent with my best friends parents (who also happen to by my parents best friends). Every year her mom does a theme. We've done sugarplum fairies, cruise nights, jammies; all sorts of themes. This years theme was The Grinch. Everyone was to dress as a Who, with the exception of my dad, who dressed as, well, the Grinch appropriately. It was a lot of fun, everyone looked fantastic.

Jack Who.

Abigail and Grandma Linda Who.

Henry Who.

Sarah, one of my best friends daughters, and Abigail Who.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

He didn't! This Grinch would never steal Christmas from his Grandbabies. It's all too much fun!

Once we left the Who party we headed over to Casey's for their Christmas Eve. The kids had SO much fun there. They sang carols with his mom, they played with his niece and nephew, and they got to open presents, which of course to them is the best part.

Abigail singing Karaoke for everyone.

Jack got a blaster gun and LOVES it.

Clearly Abigail wasn't having fun.

That night Casey and I brought home three exhausted children and put them in their beds to wait for Santa to bring them their gifts. I thought since they were so exhausted from the nights festivities that they'd be out for the night. No such luck. You see, Abigail was TERRIFIED of having a man come into the house that we didn't know. Santa's a stranger ya know. She and Henry both had a long night that night, but thankfully woke up in good moods.

One last shot of the tree and all their gifts before heading to bed for a few hours.

Christmas morning was fun! I loved seeing the kids enjoy their mountain of gifts. There were a few favorites out of the bunch, Henry's Littlest Pet Shop bat and his Batman Bat Cave, Abigail's Princess Piano and half ton of Littlest Pet Shops, Jack LOVED his scooter Santa brought him as well as his super cool RC car from Toy Story.

Henry opening "Batty" the Littlest Pet Shop bat that he fell in love with months ago.

Jack and the ramp for his little skateboards.

We all had a wonderful Christmas. We ate great food, had a lot of fun, got to see friends and family and really got to enjoy our holiday. I am now glad it's all over and soon we will all get back to our normal routines. The holidays are always a lot of fun but incredibly exhausting.

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays as much as we enjoyed ours. Here's to a happy, healthy New Year!
