This morning my mom and I headed out to take the kids to the beach for some fun. The kids love the beach nearly as much as I do and I haven't been with them the last few times they have gone, so I was so glad to go with them for some fun! And fun we had! My mom would tell you I birthed minnow's my children love the water so much, and I have to say I believe her. My children truly are part fish. They had a blast playing in the sand, and the waves and making new friends with people around us. It was a great day.
*I got a few pictures of course, but because I wasn't using my favorite lens (hey, gotta be careful, I've dropped my camera in the sand before) my pictures aren't super fabulous.*
It wouldn't be a trip to the beach without some Seagull lovin' and boy did we have some Seagull lovin'. This guy thought he was just the best looking bird on the beach and wanted to ham it up for the camera. Of course I let him. He's quite a looker.

He'd like a copy of these for his portfolio of course but he sure did work it.

After we finished eating lunch and flirting with Seagulls the kids played in the sand and water for a few hours. They'd run in the water and let the waves chase them out. Here are Abigail and Jack.

All three catchin' waves in a bucket to take home for ever and ever.

Abigail LOVES water.

Jack LOVES to run in water.

Abigail and Jack.

The boys took a minute to sit in awe of the bigger boys boogie boarding. Henry tried out an imaginary board.

Because I am raising dreamers they sat and stared off into the great wide ocean and pondered life...

Until, like most dreamers know, life found them.
Hey, dreamin' isn't so bad. I have done it my whole life and have no intentions of stopping.

Living is pretty fun too.

What's a little dreaming at the beach without some male bonding afterward?

We all had such a good time. Like Henry told me tonight before I kissed him good night, "We'll have to do that all again soon. It was fun.". He's right. Soon indeed.

I LOVE these photos!!! I love the ones of the boys sitting together and OF COURSE the last one is a classic!
I never have enough nerve to take a picture of the peeing together, even though it makes me laugh each time. Good for you!
Your kids are getting so big!
You're pictures are the best! I was just telling my husband that I wish we lived closer to you so I could get you to take pictures of my kids! And the last picture is ADORABLE! Thanks for making me smile.
The pic of all three of them staring out into the ocean needs to be framed pronto!!! Beautiful:) And of course the one of the bare tushies is hilarious!!
Those are fantastic photos. I'm glad that you had a good time. Not sure if you remember me, but we went to Jr High together I believe it was, maybe even HS.
What a beautiful day! Not only are the photos par excellent, the captions that you provided are so eloquent and thought-provoking. It is so obvious how your children simply enjoy the company of each other. Thank you for sharing your dreamers with us. We all need inspiration from time to time.
Thank you guys so much. You are all so sweet! I think I am going to get the one of all three printed out and then the peeing one. The peeing one should be framed and put in the boys room I think. I shoulda grabbed the other lens but I had an important shoot on Friday and was afraid I would drop it. Ah well, still a good day. And I am STILL painfully sunburnt on my back. LOL
